Hey fight fans,
There’s just 5 days to go until the full release of Undisputed on Steam, and as such Undisputed is leaving it’s ‘early access’ phase. We want to thank all our early access players for not only having faith in Undisputed and joining us on our journey to full launch. We also want to thank you for being critical to the development journey by providing consistent and quality feedback that has helped us shape the game for full launch and that will continue to shape our priorities for future updates to Undisputed.
The transition from early access to full release comes with a few changes, most notably for our early access audience, the full reset of online ranked. When the game enters full release on October 8th all player ranks will be reset, meaning players will start fresh and must earn a new place in the rankings. Your player level, which is separate from your rank, will not be reset.
The opening season of the full launch of Undisputed, season 0, will act as a sort of pre-season, giving us time to further balance gameplay and finesse our ranking system, and giving new players a chance to familiarise themselves with the game ahead of season 1 sometime in 2025.
As a sidenote, within a few weeks of full launch we will be shutting down online services for any players that have not updated their game to the full launch version.
That’s all we have to share around ranked right now – we’ll look to share more about season 1 closer to the time. As a reminder, all PC early access players will be able to play the full launch of Undisputed on Tuesday the 8th of October, and will also automatically receive access to the pre-order bonus Roy Jones Jr. ’93.
